CI-CD Pipeline Developer

**Description**

SAIC is seeking a **CI/CD Pipeline Developer** with strong technical depth in automation and pipeline engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Architect, develop, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with a heavy emphasis on GitLab-centric workflows.

+ Collaborate with Java developers, C++ developers, testers, and infrastructure teams to streamline code integration and delivery.

+ Implement branching strategies, merge processes, and version control standards using Git and GitLab.

+ Enhance developer experience through automation, pipeline refinement, and environment consistency.

+ Support containerization and orchestration strategies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes/OpenShift).

+ Maintain detailed documentation of pipeline architecture, configurations, and process workflows.

**Qualifications**

**Required Education:**

+ BS degree and 2+ years of relevant experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.

**Required Skills:**

+ Experience using the GitLab environment for CI/CD pipeline creation, orchestration, and automation.

+ Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

+ Solid understanding of Git workflows and modern branching strategies.

+ Experience supporting Java-based applications or working directly with Java development teams.

+ Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).

+ Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse technical teams.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

+ Detail-oriented, with a commitment to scalable and secure software delivery.

**Required Clearance:**

+ Active Secret Security Clearance

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
