Opportunity

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Mid-to-Senior-Level Engineer/Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL location.

PeopleTec is seeking a Systems Engineer/Analyst to support Missile Defense Agency Systems Engineering Directorate to provide Verification and Validation support for the System Verification Director. This position plays a key role in defining, analyzing, and managing requirements spanning the entire system life cycle - from concept development through testing and deployment.

Duties:

• Develop/maintain code for Ground Test and Flight Test data analysis required by MDA/SEQV. Coordinate with other developers collaborating on code modifications and analysis tools within a code repository of thousands of executable lines of python code housed in a git repository environment.
• Write Python, MATLAB, and shell command scripts to verify and validate test system requirements for Missile Defense Elements using Ground Test and Flight Test data.
• Execute System Interface Control Document (SICD) requirements checkout using MATLAB requirements analysis code against tactical message log data recorded from flight and ground test data sources.
• Develop scripts to import, parse, and extract Missile Defense Data Center (MDDC) ground test and flight test data to be used for MDA/SEQV activities including Threat V&V analysis, Core Truth Model (CTM) analysis, SICD analysis, and System Federation Validation Events (SFVE) / System Post Flight Reconstruction (SPFR) performance parameter analysis.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• 5-8+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in systems engineering supporting missile defense or other complex defense systems.
• Must have a strong ability to use Python, MATLAB, and ability to execute operating system shell command scripts
• Strong understanding of MDA system architectures, lifecycle processes, and verification/validation.
• Ability to translate high-level mission objectives into detailed technical requirements.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
