Built in Simulink and converted to C++, these models are used by the Air Force and Navy to train pilots and test flight software. Successful candidates will need to have a good understanding of radar operations, a solid foundation in modeling and simulation, and working knowledge of analysis tools such as Matlab/Simulink.

The candidate:

  • Will communicate and collaborate effectively and efficiently with other technical government and contractor engineers and scientists.
  • Will present findings and recommendations to appropriate groups and help determine actionable steps based on the findings.
  • Will prepare written, technical reports to management, indicating analytical findings that will be used to support the Intelligence Community.
  • May provide work leadership and training to lower level professional and technical staff.
  • May supervise junior staff and schedule work to meet completion dates.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or relevant technical field
  • US citizenship with a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Offers will be contingent upon successful completion of a CI polygraph.
  • Experience in radar operations and terminology.
  • Ability to perform exploratory analysis and research, and present results to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate successfully with other internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to succinctly describe complex technical scenarios in simple, easily understood terms
  • Strong analytic, inference, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills

Required Experience:

  • At least three years’ experience with radar systems
  • Prior experience characterizing radar systems based on incomplete information
  • Experience with or extensive knowledge of modeling radars

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous ITEAMS experience
