Northrop Grumman said in September 2025 that it had more than 3,800 employees and more than one million square feet of facilities in Alabama, mostly in the Huntsville area, including Cummings Research Park and the Missile Assembly Building on Redstone Arsenal. Its Huntsville work serves Army, Missile Defense Agency and NASA customers, with high-rate production and integration of the Army's Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) at its EPIC facility in Madison, work on the Sentinel ICBM, and missile defense programs such as Ground-based Midcourse Defense. The company also lists NASA Space Launch System solid rocket boosters among its Huntsville programs.
